Full-Time Dental Assistant (Philadelphia Market)

The Dental Assistant will routinely assist Kids Smiles Dentists in the care of patients and in related clerical work. The Dental Assistant is responsible for keeping records, managing clerical detail, providing diagnosis aids to the dentist and in performing clinical supportive functions such as inventory and supply maintenance. The Dental Assistant is responsible for exposing, develop and mounting dental x-rays and performs various duties pertaining to keep the view of oral cavity clear and dry.

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Philadelphia Market)

The EFDA will routinely assist Kids Smiles Dentists in the care of patients and in related office work. S/he will be responsible for keeping records, managing clerical detail and providing diagnosis aids to the dentists. The EFDA will perform clinical supportive functions including preparing and dismissing patients as well as various dental treatments and laboratory tasks.

Education Coordinator (Philadelphia Market)

The Community Educator is to deliver the Outreach program by providing education in schools and community settings. In addition, this position handles the construction of the outreach calendar and the development of new relationships in the community. Together with the education team, the coordinator supports evaluation and program growth.

GENERAL DENTIST (F/T or P/T)

Kids Smiles is seeking General Dentists in our Philadelphia and Washington, DC clinics to work in a team setting with other dental providers and center staff to ensure the efficient, quality and timely care of its patients. S/he will provide direct dental care to patients, including clinical diagnosis, evaluation, studies and treatment services and education.

The qualified candidate must have:

• Graduated from an accredited School of Dental Medicine
• Current, active State license
• Minimum of 1-2 years' of experience
• Nitrous Oxide certification preferred
• **Approved for participation in the Loan Repayment Program**
